About Us

Principal’s Welcome

Inspiring your child to achieve their best

When you join us at St Bernard’s Catholic Primary School you become part of a caring community where every child is known and valued. Academics are a priority here, balanced with rich opportunities to live out our values while challenging every student to achieve their best.

Our students enjoy diverse experiences to equip them with the skills needed for 21st century living. Classrooms are engaging, open and flexible spaces with the latest technology, and teachers can accelerate or supplement students who need extension, enrichment or just a little extra help.

Beyond the classroom, St Bernard’s students love our sustainability focus, natural spaces to play in, exciting extra-curricular activities, and the way we reach out to help others as a community.

Investing in wellbeing

Academics give an important foundation for future success, but it is our wellbeing focus that helps shape robust children ready to take on the world. We nourish student wellbeing in all years by meeting their social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We are a Rock and Water school and offer dedicated programs to build confidence, respect and creativity in each child.

Open hearted community

When you ask parents who send their children here what sets us apart, they’ll always talk about the sense of community. Families forge strong, enduring friendships at St Bernard’s, and we pull together when help is needed. From the  P&F to supporting local charities, to creating engaging playground spaces and resourcing our classrooms, our community is a warm, welcoming village with an attitude of service mirrored by our students.

I look forward to welcoming you to St Bernard’s and invite you to take a school tour by contacting us on 02 9456 2104 or sbb@dbb.catholic.edu.au.
