Spaces to enrich your child’s learning
Our classrooms and grounds have unique facilities that our children delight in. It’s a joy to see our students explore, challenge and imagine together, inside the classroom and beyond. Everyday at school your child will benefit from our thoughtfully designed spaces designed to enrich and inspire every child.
Bright, beautiful and flexible classrooms
Equipped with the latest technology, our classrooms have flexible layouts that we adapt as classes and needs change with different activities.
The Hub
The Hub is our school library which is an integral part of our curriculum and where all classes have a library lesson each week. It offers a large selection of books, learning resources, laptops and iPads for students to borrow.
The Fr. Denis Callaghan Parish Hall
The hall is constantly in use for activities including assemblies, school liturgies, band practice, PE in wet weather, school musicals, P&F socials and Warrina Kids’ before and after school care.
Mud kitchen and dry river bed
Students love to explore and create in the most natural way in our mud kitchen and river bed. It’s a sensory journey where little ones are given the opportunity to play imaginatively while developing social and language skills. This is a delightful place to learn to negotiate, self-regulate and problem solve with their peers.
Veggie garden
Nurtured by Year 4, the veggie garden is full of seasonal produce and is a hands-on way to learn about sustainability, nutrition and the eco system. Some of the produce is used by the canteen in a wonderfully tangible example of patch-to-plate dynamics.
Eco-spiritual garden
Students can retreat to this sacred space for prayer and quiet reflection. It has an Indigenous theme and brings together Catholic, Aboriginal and Mercy Symbols through the use of art, colour, shape, water and Indigenous plants.
Amphitheatre
The whole school gathers daily in the amphitheatre for eating, play, assemblies, ceremonies and celebrations.
Oval
We are blessed with vast outside play spaces, including the oval. Events such as the Cross Country and our Fair are held on the oval which is positioned behind the main classroom block.
